Know the two bills

Your TapBrig plan pays for TapBrig: the app, the Inbox and your AI credits. WhatsApp messages are charged by Meta, to your own Meta account. TapBrig never handles that bill and adds nothing to it.

Meta charges for each message it delivers, by type and by the customer's country:

  • Replies, yours or the AI's, within 24 hours of the customer's last message: the first 1,000 each month are free for each number, then each one is charged.
  • Templates, which start a chat or restart one after 24 hours: each one is charged.
  • Messages your customers send you: free.

The prices for each country are on Meta's pricing page.

Add a card in Meta Business Suite

Open Billing & payments in Meta Business Suite, go to Accounts → Messaging accounts and press Add payment method on your number's account. Meta's own steps are in Add a credit card to your WhatsApp Business Platform account. Once the account's currency is set, it can't be changed.

Without a payment method, Meta stops delivering a number's replies once its 1,000 free ones for the month are used, and sends no templates.

Check the card pays for this number

The card has to be on the messaging account for your number, not only on your business. In TapBrig, Integrations → WhatsApp → Numbers shows that account's ID on the number's card, after Business account. In Billing & payments, open Accounts → Messaging accounts, find that ID and check your card is on it.

See what Meta has charged

Billing & payments → Payment activity lists each charge, in your Meta account's currency. Ask Meta about a charge: TapBrig can't see or change that bill.
