Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 July 2026
1. Agreement
By accessing tapbrig.com or app.tapbrig.com, or by creating an account, you agree to these terms. They form a legal contract between you and Reach & Bridge Sdn Bhd ("TapBrig", "we", "us"). If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. The service
TapBrig provides AI-powered customer engagement tools, including digital business cards, WhatsApp automation, and web chat. We regularly add features, improve existing ones, and occasionally retire features that no longer make sense. We'll give you reasonable notice before any breaking change.
3. Account & eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use TapBrig and you must provide accurate information when signing up. You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for anything done under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable use
We trust you to use TapBrig responsibly. You must not:
- Send spam or unsolicited bulk messages.
- Upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content.
- Use the AI to generate content that violates the law or harms others.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of our platform.
- Resell, white-label, or sublicense TapBrig without written permission.
- Use the service in a way that disrupts or degrades it for other customers.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.
5. Fees & billing
Subscription fees are listed on our pricing page and charged in MYR or SGD based on the business country you declare when you sign up — not the country you happen to be in when you pay. Because our payment processor ties each customer to a single currency, your currency is set by your first payment and can't be changed afterwards. Taxes (SST, GST) are additional where applicable.
When we charge
- Your plan — in advance, monthly or annually.
- Plan changes and extra seats — prorated onto your next invoice. Nothing is charged at the moment you make the change.
- Pay-as-you-go AI messages — in arrears, after they're used, and only if you turn overage on. Overage is off by default: without it, AI simply stops at your plan's allowance rather than charging you more. You can also set a spend cap, which we enforce.
Upgrades take effect immediately, and you're not charged that day. Your next invoice covers the rest of the current period on the new plan (less credit for what you already paid for that period), plus the period after it. That single invoice is therefore usually larger than your normal amount — it's a one-off catch-up, not a price rise.
Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep your present plan and its full allowance until then, nothing is charged or credited when you request it, and you can cancel the scheduled change any time before it starts. Your next invoice is at the lower rate.
Extra seats behave like an upgrade: seats you add are prorated onto your next invoice, and seats you remove appear there as a credit.
Credits aren't refunds. Where a change leaves you with unused time you've already paid for, we apply it as a credit against future invoices — it reduces what you pay next rather than returning money to your card. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
Cancelling. Cancel any time from Settings → Billing. Your access runs to the end of the period you've paid for, and the subscription won't renew.
Failed payments. If a charge fails we'll retry it and email you, and we may suspend paid features until the balance clears.
6. Customer data ownership
You own your customer data. We process it as your data processor under PDPA, only to deliver the service to you. You decide what to collect, how long to keep it, and when to delete it.
7. Intellectual property
TapBrig owns the platform — the code, the brand, the documentation, and any improvements we make. You own the content you upload and the customer data you bring in. You grant us a limited license to host and process your content solely to provide the service.
8. Third-party services
TapBrig integrates with third parties — WhatsApp/Meta, Stripe, AI providers, and others. Each has its own terms and pricing. When you use those features, you also agree to their terms. We don't control these providers and aren't responsible for their outages or policy changes.
9. Service availability
We work hard to keep TapBrig running, but we don't guarantee a specific uptime unless it's written into a paid plan or enterprise agreement. We'll give advance notice for planned maintenance and aim to fix unplanned outages quickly.
10. Limitation of liability
TapBrig is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (like lost profits or lost data), even if we've been told they were possible.
11. Termination
Either of us can end this agreement. You can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing; your access continues to the end of the period you've paid for (see section 5). We can suspend or terminate your account for a serious breach, non-payment, or legal reasons.
Getting your data out
You can export everything in your workspace at any time — before or after you cancel — from Settings → Privacy. You get a zip of spreadsheet files you can open in Excel, Numbers, Google Sheets or anything else: your contacts, cards, appointments, conversations, knowledge base and team. It doesn't need an active subscription, and it isn't limited to a window after you leave. Each export stays downloadable for 90 days, then we delete the file.
Deleting your data
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. To have it deleted, email hello@tapbrig.com — we'll acknowledge within 5 business days and complete it within 30. Our Data Deletion policy sets out exactly what gets removed, and the few records the law requires us to keep.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Malaysia — or in the courts of Singapore if your billing country is Singapore. We hope it never comes to that and prefer to sort things out by email first.
13. Changes
We may update these terms as TapBrig grows. For material changes, we'll give you 30 days' notice by email or in-app banner before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
14. Contact
Questions about these terms? Email hello@tapbrig.com and a real human will reply.
