1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device to remember things — like whether you're signed in or what language you prefer. We also use similar technologies like local storage and pixels. This policy explains what Reach & Bridge Sdn Bhd uses on tapbrig.com and why.

2. What we use cookies for

We group cookies by purpose. Some are essential and you can't turn them off without breaking the site; others are optional.

• Essential — session management, sign-in state, CSRF protection, and basic security. These cannot be disabled because the site won't work without them.
• Functional — remembering your preferences (locale, theme, dismissed banners) so you don't have to reset them every visit.
• Analytics — Vercel Analytics records anonymized page views and basic device data so we can see what's working and what isn't. No personal identifiers are used.
• Referral — if you arrive through a TapBrig reseller's link, the tapbrig_ref cookie keeps that reseller's code for 90 days, so they're credited for referring you if you sign up. It holds only the code and isn't used for advertising. Blocking or deleting it doesn't change how the site works; the reseller just won't be credited.
• Marketing — if we have advertised to you on Facebook or Instagram, the Meta pixel on this site sets _fbp and, when you arrive from an ad, _fbc, so Meta can tell that the visit came from that ad. We also set tapbrig_fbclid for 90 days, which carries the ad's click ID to app.tapbrig.com when you follow a link there — the signup happens on that separate site, and without it the ad cannot be matched to the signup it paid for. These are used to measure advertising, not to build a profile of you on this site, and blocking or deleting them doesn't change how the site works.

3. Third-party cookies

A few of the cookies above are set by third parties acting on our behalf:

• Meta Platforms Ireland Limited — the Meta pixel, for measuring our Facebook and Instagram advertising. See facebook.com/privacy/policy.

We'll keep this list current as we add or remove tools.

4. How to control cookies

You can manage cookies in your browser settings — most browsers let you block all cookies, block third-party cookies, or delete stored cookies. We may also show a consent banner in regions that require one, where you can toggle optional categories. Be aware that blocking essential cookies will break sign-in and other core features.

5. Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. We honor DNT where technically possible: on those visits we skip optional analytics and the Meta pixel does not load at all. Essential cookies remain because the site needs them to function.

6. Updates

We may update this policy as our cookie usage changes. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version. For material changes, we'll notify you via email or an in-app banner before the change takes effect.
